Retractable Awning Fabric Replacement

Hunzinger Williams Awnings and Canopies specializes in manufacturing and installing replacement fabrics, also known as recovers, for retractable awnings. To ensure that we can offer you an accurate quote and order the correct fabric size, please follow the measuring instructions provided on the Picture 1 of the form and measure the dimensions of your existing fabric when the awning is open.

Please Choose your Valance type.

Please note that we do not provide services for awnings from the following brands: Awtech, Aleko, Diensweek, Big lots, and Ocean State awnings. However, we would be delighted to provide you with a quote for replacing your existing awning with other brands we installing.

Fabric Width - when fully extended, measure the overall fabric width from the left edge to the right edge of the fabric. Please keep in mind that the awning fabric will be 4 to 6 inches narrower than the roller tube or frame against the house wall. The valance will automatically match the width of the main cover you are ordering. It's crucial to be precise, so take your time and aim for within a 1/4" accuracy. If necessary, round down to the nearest 1/4".

Please note that the new cover does come with a PVC spline as a standard inclusion. Many customers choose to reuse the existing spline that holds the current fabric in place if our will not fit in existing awning slots. You will need three splines in total: one for the roller tube, one for the front bar, and one to secure the valance in place. We offer a 5.2 MM PVC spline, but we cannot guarantee that it will fit all awning slots perfectly.

Projection/ Fabric Depth - Measures from the back of the front bar to the front of the roller bar when fully extended.
Your fabric will automatically include an extra 12" of fabric to wrap around the roller bar to achieve finished fabric length. For this measurement, round up to the nearest inch.
Provide precise dimensions of your existing fabric. ex: 12'8 3/4" or 152.75"
The valance slides into a track on the front bar and measures typically 8 inches high. Any valance over 8 inches high will add $75.
